Perhaps one of the most difficult concepts to understand about God is His eternal/everlasting nature. Time is a factor that governs all human life. No human being can control time. Few human beings can properly manage time. Yet, to God, time is a tool that He uses to reveal things about Himself as eternal. He uses time in ways we use hammers, whisks, or paint bushes. Since God is eternal, He has no beginning, no end, and will always be this way. Since we live in a finite world, it is hard for our finite minds to comprehend this infinite attribute of God. Thankfully, there is a lot of scripture that helps us understand these principles as best we can. This study we’ll examine the attributes of God that are most closely associated with this title.
